CALENDAR - 2010
with Rosella Jam
Blazing a new trail of artistic expression
Daring, Artistic, Raw, Soulful, Humorous, Fun, Entertaining

This project was embarked upon with an aim to raising funds for both "Rosella Jam" and "The Choir of Hope and Inspiration". We also hoped to contribute something visually appealing and meaningful to the artistic world. .... ahem..
An idea that started as a joke on the rehearsal floor one Tuesday night took flight and with photographer Paul Mulqueen’s patience, support and striking photography, we have achieved what some thought was the unachievable.

Commencing at the Natural Arch one wintry Wednesday morning …. three brave ladies dropped their gear to kick off what would become a two day parade of "Jammers" baring their bits all in the name of a song and a dollar. There are those who rudely suggest Mother Nature is still recovering.

Models range in age from 23 to 66. Brave Mr June wrapped strategically around a drum, does leave us wondering. Is he one lucky man or …..?

As well as smashing to smithereens the naked fear that lurked deep within some of us, remarkable shots were achieved.

Contributions of exquisite poetry by resident "Jammer" John Hornsey and Attilio Dona completed a stunning work of art.

Despite cries of horror and disgust from models ungrateful offspring ...the calendar is a resounding success and is being distributed nationally and internationally to an appreciative audience.
